1960s Mr. Dino 2 Pc Printed Velvet Skirt Set I almost thought this was a Pucci set- he did design beautiful printed velvets. But no, it’s a Mr. Dino in a Persian tile pattern. The vest or sleeveless top - I guess it’s all in how you wear it - is lined in black and has a metal zipper front. The maxi length skirt is a straight cut with a wide waist band and black velvet panels down each side. The side zipper is a nylon coil. Label: Mr. Dino Size: Labeled a 12. Top: Bust: 39" , Waist: 36" , Shoulders: 15.5”, CB Neck to Hem: 17.5” Skirt: Waist: 30”, Hips: 44" , Waist to Hem: 40" , Hem circumference: 57". Condition: The top is Excellent. The black velvet panels are additions to the skirt. But they are so well done, including the reset zipper, that I hated to have them taken out. And they do make this an even better size. 1950s Jacques Heim Green Wool Vintage Jacket What a beautiful shade of green in a hound’s-tooth weave. This is a Jacques Heim Jeunes Filles jacket. I suspect it had a skirt - but isn’t it a great separate to wear with pants or even jeans? The front closure has a hidden button placket and an integral belt with covered buckle. The belt placement coordinates with the princess seams, which are used that at the back as well. The slightly flared sleeves are ¾ length. This is fully lined. 1940s Navy Blue Gabardine Jacket Blazer with Dressmaker Details I do love a tailored jacket. This one in navy blue wool gabardine has great details and construction. It’s just my onion, but the 1940s were one of the best eras for tailored womenswear. The collar has the long points of the e40s, the set of the shoulders and shoulder pads is strong, love the rimmed covered buttons and bound buttons holes, and the pocket details are fab. Plus, the western style should yoke details is super. The brooch isn’t included, but it looks great, doesn’t it? Try a more modern one and see how it works. Rollman’s was a Cincinnati department store founded in 1867 with a location at 5th and Vine, and then later at the Swifton Center, an early Cincinnati mall. I believe they were taken over by Mabley & Carew in the early 1960s. Label: Rollman’s Cincinnati Size: Bust: 37",Waist: 28", Shoulders: 16", Sleeves: 23", CB Neck to Hem: 25.5" Condition: Excellent.
