HOW TO ORDER:
Select your item and number and either email us at montyholly@insightbb.com or call us at 502-543-6401 to check on availability and ask any questions. We are happy to answer anything we can.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
All items are first come first serve. Please call or email us for availability prior to making payment. We charge actual shipping and insurance if requested, so we will need to send you a Final Total prior to payment.
We accept money orders, personal checks & credit cards through Paypal.Com. Items must be paid for within 7 days of the order being received. If payment is not received within that time, the item will be made available to our other customers.
If you wish to pay through Paypal.com, let us know, and we will email you an invoice with the correct amount including shipping.
We ship all our vintage clothing via the USPS's Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. We are happy to insure at the buyer's request and expense. Shipment will occur on receipt of money order, Paypal payment or when your check has cleared our bank.
LAYAWAY
Layaway Policy: No Returns or Refunds on any Layaway payments or items. We now offer a 3 month Layaway option with three equal payments. The first payment is due within 10 days of the order confirmation. Once Again, There are no returns or refunds on any layaway item. If your Layaway transaction is not completed, you will forfeit the amount paid.
Items under $300 cannot be purchased on layaway. Sale items, should we do a sale, will not be available on Layaway.
Important Note: If items are not claimed by the 3 month deadline, they will be made available to our other customers for sale. Customers who purchase items on lawaway must finish paying for that order before additional items can be purchased.
INTERNATIONAL SALES
We are happy to ship to our many international customers. We currently ship to Europe,including Russia, as well as Canada , Japan, Australia , Hong Kong and Singapore. We use USPS Priority Mail International . All customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer, we must mark all packages accurately as to contents, type of shipment and value. We ask that our International Customers use Paypal.com. However, Italy has very restrictive import laws regarding all sewn items making delivery risky, so we can only accept International Money Orders from our Italian customers, not Paypal.
RETURNS
We accept items for refund only if they have been misrepresented by us as to condition or age. The buyer who wishes to return an item must inform us via email within 24 hours of receiving the item. No refunds will be issued until the garment is in our possession and in the exact condition in which it was shipped to the customer. We do not refund either shipping or insurance. A restocking fee of 5% will be charged on all returns.
NOTE : No Sale items will be accepted for Refund. Not that we have any Sale items now, but should we have a sale in the future - well, you get the idea.
CONDITION
We list condition notes with every item. Mint is a term we rarely use. It means perfect and unworn. Excellent is a condition we strive to have for our items. With this, there may be very subtle signs of wear, and no holes or spots. You will note that when an item is excellent but for a minor flaw, we will state the flaw. Occasionally we will list an item with flaws that we feel is worthwhile, and this will be graded very good with the flaws stated. The older the piece the more likely we are to offer it with some flaws as these older items are getting so hard to come by and have value even if not perfect.
MEASUREMENTS
We measure all our garments flat and give actual measurements, no ease included. Please remember, ease is that wonderful little bit of room that makes a garment wearable, especially in the bust and hips. Very few garments outside of Spandex, strapless dresses and corsets should fit skin tight. So be sure to allow for at least an 1" of ease in the bust and 2" in the hips. Some people measure a garment they already wear and love the fit of to get a sense of what amount of ease is desirable.
